Before making a test live, you can preview each variant to make sure everything looks and works as expected. This is especially useful for double-checking layout, content, and interactions in Webflow.

***

### How to preview a variant

1. Open the Optibase Web App
2. Navigate to the Test that contains the variant you want to preview
3. Click the Preview/Force Icon next to the variant
4. A modal will appear with a preview URL
   * Input the base URL of your website (where the test runs)
   * Click Copy to copy the full preview URL
5. Open the link in a browser to view the variant live

> The preview URL includes a special optibaseVariants search param that forces Optibase to load the specific variant.

***

### Example preview URL

```
https://example.com?optibaseVariants=hero_headline:variant_b
```

You can also preview multiple variants from different tests by chaining them:

```
https://example.com?optibaseVariants=hero_headline:variant_b;cta_button:variant_a
```

***

### Notes

* Previewing does not affect your test data — no page views or conversions are tracked
* You can share preview URLs with clients or teammates for feedback
* If nothing changes on the page, double-check that the variant is connected properly
