What is Optibase
Optibase is a Webflow-native A/B testing and conversion optimization platform. It helps you improve your website by testing what actually works — no guesswork, no custom code.
Whether you’re running an ecommerce store, a SaaS landing page, or a lead-gen funnel, Optibase gives you the tools to create better user experiences and boost conversions.
Why it matters
Most websites have a conversion problem, not a traffic problem.
Optibase helps you identify what drives user action — clicks, signups, purchases — and lets you test changes safely and quickly, all within your Webflow project.
How Optibase works
1. Track Conversions
Conversions are the key actions users take on your site. For example:
Clicking a Buy or Sign Up button
Filling out a form
Completing checkout
Visiting a specific page
Triggering a custom event
You can define conversions in Optibase and track how different changes affect them.
Example: You’re running a newsletter site. You set a conversion for when someone subscribes using the form on your homepage.
2. Create and Test Variants
A Variant is a different version of a page or component. Optibase supports two types of tests:
A/B Test (Variant Group) Make small changes like:
Button color
Headline text
Image placement
Visitors are randomly shown one of the variants. You track which one leads to more conversions.
Split Test (URL-based) Swap out the entire page:
Different layout or structure
Alternative landing page
Full redesign
Users are split between different URLs to compare results.
3. Learn and Optimize
Once your test is live, Optibase tracks performance in real time. You’ll see:
Conversion rates by variant
Traffic distribution
Lift and statistical significance
Use this data to make confident, evidence-based decisions — not assumptions.
Tips for Getting Started
Start small: Test one change at a time before jumping into full page redesigns.
Prioritize high-impact areas: Focus on pages with traffic and clear goals (e.g., pricing, checkout, signup).
Set clear conversions: Decide what success looks like before starting a test.
