Workspaces

A Workspace in Optibase is your dedicated testing environment. Each workspace holds its own tests, variants, conversions, and members. You can manage multiple projects or clients by creating multiple workspaces.

Add a New Workspace

  1. Click on the workspace dropdown in the top-left corner of the app.

  2. Click “Add new Workspace +”.

  3. Enter a name for your new workspace.

  4. Your new workspace will be created on the Free plan with a default monthly tested user limit (e.g., 10,000 users).

You can now start setting up tests, conversions, and variants in this new workspace.

Switch Between Workspaces

  • Open the dropdown to see a list of all workspaces you belong to.

  • Click a workspace name to switch into it.

  • You’ll see the number of members, your role, and the current plan for each workspace.

Invite Members to a Workspace

To invite other users:

  1. Click the gear icon next to the workspace name.

  2. Navigate to the Members section.

  3. Add the email address of the user you’d like to invite.

  4. Choose their role (e.g., Viewer, Editor, or Owner).

  5. Click Invite.

Once accepted, they’ll get access to the workspace and all its experiments.

Pricing & Billing

  • Plans are workspace-based, meaning each workspace has its own subscription and usage limits.

  • Only the workspace owner is responsible for the subscription and billing of that workspace.

  • There is no additional cost for adding members to a workspace. You can collaborate freely without worrying about user-based charges.

  • You can upgrade a workspace plan at any time under the Billing tab in the workspace settings.

This setup makes it easy to manage separate billing for different teams, clients, or projects, while collaborating with others at no extra cost.
