Installing the WordPress Plugin

The Optibase WordPress plugin is the fastest way to connect your site to your workspace. By using the plugin, you avoid manual code editing—simply upload the file, add your API key, and the Optibase script will handle the rest.

1. Download the Plugin

First, you need to grab the latest version of the Optibase plugin:

  1. Visit the Optibase Download Pagearrow-up-right.

  2. Click Download for WordPress.

  3. A .zip file will download to your computer. Keep this file zipped; do not extract it.

2. Upload to WordPress

Once you have the file, head over to your WordPress Admin dashboard:

  1. Navigate to the Plugins tab in the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Click Add New Plugin at the top of the page.

  3. Click the Upload Plugin button.

  4. Drag your downloaded .zip file into the box or click Choose File to select it.

  5. Click Install Now.

  6. Once the installation is complete, click Activate Plugin.

3. Connect via API Key

After activation, you will see a new Optibase item in your left-hand sidebar. To link it to your account, you need your Public API Key.

  1. Open your Optibase Dashboardarrow-up-right in a new tab.

  2. Go to Settings in the bottom left corner.

  3. Click on Public API Key and copy the key provided.

  4. Return to your WordPress site and paste the key into the API Key box.

  5. Hit Save Changes.

What’s Next?

Your WordPress site is now successfully connected to Optibase! The tracking script is loading automatically across your site, and you are ready to begin.

  • Go to your Dashboard: You can now start creating A/B tests and Personalizations.

  • Verify Connection: In your Optibase settings, you can verify that the script is being detected on your live WordPress URL.
